Pastor Willis Odaa Odeyo is the Chairman and founder of Global Faith Ministries Inc. a multifaceted Christian not for profit organization and the Senior Pastor of Global Faith Chapel in Mikindani, Mombasa city at the Coast Province of Kenya.

Pastor Willis Odaa is married to Pastor Rose Atieno Odaa who also is gifted in the area of Praise and worship, together they have two blessed children, Marion Cherrie Odaa and Victor Omondi Odaa.

Pastor Willis Odaa grew up from a humble background being the 3rd born of the late Naboth Odaa Odeyo and the late Mrs. Rispah Anyango Odeyo. He went to both Primary and High School and attended college where he did Mechanical Engineering Craft production option after which he settled briefly as an entrepreneur in Kisumu Kenya.

Pastor Willis Odaa was born again into the kingdom on 30th Sept. 1990. "My life changed immediately for the lord began to use me immediately" he says. "The turning point in my life came when I lost my parents in 1994. Our family was reduced after further loses of 4 of my siblings. We were refuted by friends and close relatives and intimidated. Life almost became unbearable and impossible because there was no one to turn to. All this while one thing kept me going. I had purpose to stand by my God. Earlier the Lord had spoken to me that He would raise me up to become a powerful man of God who would minister to the nations".

Pastor Willis Odaa began to serve under his Pastor in Kisumu Bishop Mark Kegohi of the Redeemed Gospel Church Inc as an entrepreneur and later attended JCC School of Ministry of Dr. Wilfred Lai in Mombasa where he graduated with certificate in Biblical studies. He was ordained a minister of the Gospel in 1998 and the following year he planted his first church under Redeemed Gospel Church in Western Province of Kenya. He has also attended many School of Ministry meetings under Morris Cerullo World Evangelism, Trumpet center and this has prepared him for the work that God has called him to do.

Pastor Willis Odaa has a passion for the teaching of the word of faith, restoration and reformation of the church through the prophetic and Apostolic impartation and influence. This is the time for the church to experience the fullness of God's power through the move of the Holy Spirit and only yielded vessels would walk in this power and experience all round dominion" he says.


Global Faith Ministries, Inc
Global Faith Ministries Inc, is a non profit Christian organization which has affiliated Global Faith Chapel and other institutions. The organization was established on 22nd August 2003 to accomplish the following mission:-

- Improve the health of the disadvantaged people in Kenya as a means of them to escape poverty and improve the quality of their lives in a Christian way.


BACKGROUND
Global Faith Ministries Inc is a not-for-profit Christian organization with a church based in Mikindani, Mombasa city, Coast Province of Kenya. The institution was started in 2003 with a mission to enhance, empower and promote sustainable livelihood and welfare of the under privileged children, youths and women by helping them combat HIV and Aids pandemic and reduce poverty in a Christian way.

The organization partners with projects that major on children, women, youth affected by HIV Aids pandemic, illiteracy and poverty. Global Faith Ministries Inc was registered as a not-for-profit organization formally on 12th January 2004 under the societies Acts.


STRATEGY
Global Faith Ministries Inc endeavors to partner with those who care to give hope to the forgotten innocent victims of HIV Aids pandemic. Through our multifaceted programmes we aim to ensure that grass root institutions who are making a difference receive the necessary support in building their capacity so that they may be effective in their work. Our institution serves all without fear, favor, gender, race or color. Our programs are based on new approach and focuses on supporting and educating affected families and communities before they become too weakened.

PARTNERS


1. GOMURA JUNIOR ACADEMY - MAGONGO
The School has 120 pupils and runs from KG I (Baby class) to Standard 5. Out of the 120 pupils 80 are orphans and vulnerable children. Our institution partners with these orphans in paying school fees, buying books and uniforms and their medication expenses and feeding programme. The school has 9 teachers and five subordinate staff including the caretaker. The school operational budget per year is Kshs: 1,250,000 or USD 19,231.00 We provide 52% of the budget.

2. GRACIOUS JUNIOR ACADEMY - MIKINDANI
The school has 75 pupils and runs from KG I (Baby class) to standard 3. Most of these children are needy and orphans. The school charges minimum fees from those able families that take care of the members of staff and rent. Our institution supplements their annual budget both in kind and financially by providing sponsorship for 50 children, buy them uniforms and takes care of their medication apart from helping the feeding programme. The annual budget for this school is Kshs:500,000 (USD $76,923) and our institution provides 50% of budget.

3. SKY VIEW JUNIOR ACADEMY - MIGADINI
The school has 360 pupils and operates from Baby class to Standard 8. Over 180 of this are vulnerable and orphans. The school has 17 members of staff and runs feeding programmes and runs feeding programmes. Our institution ensures that there are books; uniforms, medication and children are well fed in order to learn. The annual budget for this school is Kshs: 2,500,000 (USD 38,462) and our institution cater for 45% of this budget.

4. KIBARANI COMMUNITY NURSERY SCHOOL - KIBARANI
This school has 86 children most of them vulnerable and orphans. This is a new project and our institution support 100% of the budget. This includes rent, feeding programme and medication. The annual budget for this school which runs KG 1 to KG 3 is Kshs: 500,000 (USD 7,692)

5. MJI SALAMA (ORPHANAGE) - TUDOR
This institution doubles both as an orphanage and also as old people's homes. The home has over 200 children who are orphans, abandoned and rejected. It also has over 80 old men and women who have non to take care of them. Our institution partners with this home in supporting her programmes. The home needs much food, clothes and funds to run itself. Most of the children need sponsors to go to school. Our institution partners with these home in most of the above. The annual budget for the home is Kshs: 3,000,000 (USD: 46,154) and our institution takes care of 52% of the budget.

6. KONGOWEA COMMUNITY NURSERY SCHOOL - KONGOWEA
This school has 85 pupils and runs from KG I to Standard 4. Most of the children are orphans and vulnerable and our institution supports 100% of this project. The annual budget is Kshs: 650,000 (USD 10,000).


MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
Through our multifaceted initiatives many schools have something to say concerning our contribution. Through our sponsorship programmes children have received education, homes have received necessary capacity to carry their work effectively, lives have been saved through our medication support and facilitation and we are looking forward to many more opportunities to make a difference in families.
