During the process of mixing, performed under a moving spiral belt inside the mixing shaft, the outer and inner spiral belts rotate the materials in large ranges. The other parts of the raw materials are driven by a spiral belt so that they move in a radial and axial direction, to create a “convection” circulation. This form of mixing ensures the materials achieve a uniform and fast mixing within a very short time.
The end product that is combined in a dry-powder mixer is discharged rapidly by a pneumatic quick-opening and placed into a product silo for storage and buffering. There is also a highly flexible connection that occurs between the packaging machine and the product silo. The packaging machine is responsible for completing the measurement and finally packaging the end products.
For the users that require relatively large outputs, belt conveyors are usually added in order to transport the finished products to either a truck or a finished-product area.
